Cinnamon Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

This Cinnamon and Quinoa breakfast bowl is a great base meal for your fruits, nuts and milk. This will hold together all of your favorite breakfast fruits. The sweet nutty taste of the cinnamon blends well with Quinoa. You can fill this breakfast bowl with fruits of your choice!

  • 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1-2 cinnamon sticks
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 toppings:
  • Toasted sliced almonds
  • Toasted coconut flakes
  • Blueberries


  • Rinse and drain the quinoa. Place it in a small saucepan and add almond milk, cinnamon sticks and salt.
  • Bring to a high simmer, then cover saucepan and reduce to a low simmer for 15 minutes. If pan begins to bubble, give it one stir then re-cover
  • After 15 minutes, remove pan from heat and let quinoa sit for 5 more minutes until the almond milk is absorbed.
  • Scoop half of the quinoa into a bowl and add toppings. Store remaining quinoa in the fridge for another meal.
